Trust requires clarity. Every engagement is set out in a written fee agreement, signed before any work begins.
French law requires attorneys to inform their clients about fees. I go one step further: I commit to providing you, before any work begins, with a written fee agreement detailing the nature of the engagement, the amount of the fixed fee, foreseeable costs and payment terms.
My fees are primarily set as a fixed amount, based on the nature and complexity of the file. In certain cases (long proceedings, files whose outcome directly affects a compensation), we may discuss an additional success fee.

Legal consultation, contract review, drafting of a letter or formal notice. The engagement is defined, the fee is set in advance.
For files involving proceedings (civil or criminal), the fixed fee covers the agreed phases. Fees may be supplemented by a success fee.
If your resources are below the legal thresholds, the State covers all or part of your attorney fees. I will assist you in filing the application with the Legal Aid Bureau.
Every exchange with an attorney is covered by professional secrecy. The information you share with me, as early as the first consultation, cannot be disclosed to any third party — even if no file is opened. This rule is absolute and part of the foundation of our relationship.
The first consultation is free and without commitment. It lets me understand your situation and, if appropriate, offer you a clear fee agreement.
